Today marks the incredible one-week milestone of being a fully-fledged wonder-star live streamer. I have to say, it's been a journey.
Sarcasm over, it has actually been quite fun. I don't have a record of how many hours I have been streaming for, however I believe it is at least 20+ hours of content.
My content has been quite stagnant yet varied at the same time, mostly just myself playing video games and sometimes with a friend watching and talking to me in my room. Very simple stuff.
Taking this into account, I have had a grand total of 59 individual viewers and one new follower this week, bringing my total up to 129 views and 9 followers.
It isn't much, but it's a start.
One issue that has come to my attention though, is the way Twitch displays streamers on the list depending on the game you are playing based on viewers. So if I am playing Rocket League for example, my stream will be in a list descending on total viewers - streams with the highest viewership at the top, going down to the lowest at the bottom. As I have 2 or 3 views at any one time, my stream ends up being pushed to the bottom of the list. Therefore, it is harder to gain a larger audience as people simply cannot find me.
I am going to try and highlight my stream more on other websites such as YouTube and Reddit to try and gain viewership better.
Here's to next week!
